Fabric Softener Blume Poison

Suavizante Blume Poison

The Blume Poison is Laboncler's premium fabric softener, known for offering one of the most intense and long-lasting fragrances on the market. Its formula is designed to act as an "all-in-one," eliminating the need for additional perfume beads or scent boosters

Main features
  • Exclusive fragrance: It has a scent of cherry blossom and Jewel strawberry.
  • Microcapsule technology: Contains microcapsules that adhere to the fibers and release perfume when the garment is rubbed, maintaining the scent for up to 9 weeks.
  • Fabric care: Its cationic surfactants leave clothes fluffy, voluminous, and make ironing easier. It also helps maintain the brightness and color of garments.
  • Suitable for sensitive skin: It is an ideal formula for people with atopic skin.
  • Sustainability: It is a 100% biodegradable and cruelty-free product (not tested on animals)
How to use it
  • Washing machine dosage: It is recommended to use approximately 75 ml (about 3/4 of a cap) for a standard load of up to 8 kg. For more precise dosage by weight, use between 5 and 10 grams per kilo of dry clothes.
  • Application time: Add it directly to the softener compartment so that it is released in the last rinse cycle.
  • Tip to enhance the scent: Once the clothes are dry, rubbing the garments breaks the microcapsules, releasing a new burst of fragrance.
Use as a homemade textile air freshener
Due to its powerful scent, it is very common to use it to create an air freshener for sofas, curtains, or sheets:
  1. Mix equal parts of Blume Poison softener, distilled water, and alcohol (70º or higher).
  2. Shake well in a spray bottle and spray on textiles to freshen the air
So you don't waste product and your clothes smell amazing without damaging the fibers, here are the details for both options:

1. Exact dosage per kilogram of laundry
The Blume Poison is very concentrated, so less is more. Here's a quick guide based on your washing machine's load:

Laundry load (kg) Amount of softener Visual reference
3 - 4 kg (Medium load) 20 - 30 ml A little less than half a cap
5 - 7 kg (Normal load) **40 - 50 ml A generous half cap
8 - 10 kg (Large load) 75 ml 3/4 of a cap
PRO Tip: Never fill the dispenser above the "MAX" line. If the fabric softener is released too early (in the wash cycle), the detergent will neutralize its effect and you'll lose the scent.

2. "Blume Effect" Textile Air Freshener Recipe
If you want your house to smell just like your freshly laundered clothes, prepare this mixture for curtains, sofas, blankets or even to spray on sheets before going to bed:
  • Ingredients:
    • 100 ml of Blume Poison Fabric Softener.
    • 100 ml of 70º or 96º Alcohol (helps it dry quickly and sets the scent).
    • 300 ml of Distilled Water (or tap water if you don't have it, but distilled water prevents limescale stains).
  • Preparation:
    1. First, pour the water and alcohol into a 500 ml spray bottle.
    2. Add the fabric softener last (to prevent it from foaming too much when refilling).
    3. Shake gently before each use.
How to use it? Spray from about 30 cm away from fabrics. When you sit on the sofa or move the curtains, the microcapsules will break, releasing the strawberry and cherry scent throughout the room.
Taking advantage of the scent of Blume Poison throughout the house is a very common "expert trick" among Laboncler users. Here are the strategic points to make your home smell clean 24/7:

1. In vacuum cleaner filters
Before you start cleaning, spray a little of your mixture (or put a few drops of pure fabric softener) on your vacuum cleaner's air outlet filter or on the mop. When you turn it on, the heat from the motor will spread the strawberry and cherry scent throughout all rooms as you vacuum.

2. The radiator trick (winter)
Dampen a small cloth with a mixture of water and fabric softener, and place it on the hot radiator. The heat will gradually evaporate the liquid, acting as a natural aroma diffuser for the entire living room or bedroom.

3. Always fresh closets and drawers
  • Cotton pads: Soak a couple of cotton pads in pure Blume Poison and hide them in the corners of underwear drawers or at the back of the closet.
  • Small towel: Hang a small towel dampened with fabric softener on a hanger at the back of the closet. It will maintain the "fresh laundry" scent for weeks.

4. In the trash can
To neutralize bad odors, place a cotton ball or a piece of paper towel with a few drops of fabric softener at the  bottom of the bin, just before putting in the clean trash bag.

5. Car mats
Spray the homemade air freshener mixture on the  car's fabric mats and under the seats. Since it's a small, enclosed space, the cherry blossom scent will remain intense for a long time.

6. Behind the curtains
Spray the fabric freshener on the back of the curtains and  open the window. The airflow will carry the fragrance directly into the house each time the breeze blows.
