This is one of the most popular "secret" uses for Laboncler products to make the laundry scent fill the entire home. By combining Active Gel with Blume Poison, you not only clean, but also create a layer of perfume on the floor.
Laboncler's "Cocktail" for Floors
For a standard mop bucket (approx. 5 liters), follow these steps:
- Warm water: Fill the bucket. Lukewarm water helps the Active Gel dilute better and the fabric softener's scent to volatilize faster.
- Active Gel Detergent (15 ml): Add just half a capful or a small dash. Its degreasing power will remove dirt and footprints without needing other floor cleaners.
- Blume Poison Softener (10-15 ml): Add another small dash. As it's a product designed for fibers, on floors it creates a microscopic film that retains the scent and adds extra shine.
Steps for a perfect finish:
- Wring out the mop thoroughly: To prevent the floor from becoming sticky (especially if it's parquet or laminate), the mop should be well-wrung.
- No rinsing required: If you use the small amounts indicated, the floor will dry quickly and without streaks.
- "Mirror Shine" effect: This mixture works incredibly on terrazzo, stoneware, and porcelain floors, as the fabric softener has a slight anti-static effect that repels dust.
When to avoid it?
Do not use this mixture on untreated natural wood floors or very porous marbles without a prior test, as the softener could create a cumulative layer over time.
